This year, Pride in Liverpool will look a bit different to what attendees may expect. Based on feedback, we have focused on elements that the community have said they value the most including pop-up community performances, family-friendly spaces and a diverse series of ‘fringe events’ around the city – we’ll truly be a city full of Pride.
We’re looking for artists and performers to be part of our pop-up entertainment on the day. Maybe you’re a fabulous drag queen, phenomenal on the piano, a moving acapella singer or a quirky magician – whatever your talent is we’d love to hear from you.
If this sounds like you, please fill in our form below by Friday 14 July and the team will get in touch with you.
We are particularly interested in performers that:
- Shine a light on the LGBT+ community, especially those that are less represented,
- Has a link or nod to LGBT+ rights locally, nationally and/or internationally,
- Continues the legacy of Eurovision and our solidarity with Ukraine,
- Performances that include pianos! (There is a hint at one of our locations),
- Live, work or have strong links with the Liverpool City Region,
All submissions must:
- Be acceptable to all audience – including age groups and demographics,
- If a group, be less than 8 people,
- Must bring your own instruments (if applicable) or equipment if it is beyond the ordinary – we can supply standard things like microphones etc,
- Commit to arriving at their allotted time, supplying all required materials for their performance and abiding by conduct on social media and publicly that is in keeping with the charity’s ethos.
After submission
Our Community Stage Programmer will be in touch with you to discuss your requirements and make an offer of a performance slot at one of our locations. We get hundreds of applications, so unfortunately we can’t respond to everyone. Your details will be kept on file however!
Successful performers will be:
- Available on the 17th July to meet with our Community Stage Programmer and Technical team to go through your technical requirements in detail,
- A site visit will be available to all performers/groups on the evening of the 27th July to finalise arrangements.
