Trans Day of Visibility (TDoV) is this week and TDoV Liverpool will be celebrating with a packed online event on Wednesday 31st March from 6pm – 8:30pm.
The event will open with a performance by ukulele band D’ukes of Hazzard, followed by introductions from the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Anna Rothery and Matt Exley from National Museums Liverpool.
Speakers at the event will include representatives from Mermaids, Comics Youth, GYRO, Merseyside Police, Open Table and CMAGIC, as well as video presentations from campaigner, Ben Saunders and a spoken word performance from Ratte Garnet Frost.
Topics set to be explored during the event include ‘Capturing Contemporary Trans Narratives’, ‘Social Housing: A Way Forward for Trans People’ and discussion around a non-binary right to remain case.
