This #FilmFriday we are throwing back to two fantastic films made in collaboration with the city region’s LGBT+ community by Liverpool’s Thinking Film. Art Activist and The T for Together will be streamed from the Film with Pride Facebook Page from 5pm on Friday 31st July and will be available until midnight on the same day.
Art Activist

Art Activist is a creative project by The Proud Trust, which promotes Artivism – using art and performance as a means of raising awareness and as a vehicle to evoke change.
In 2019, the Art Activist showcase took place in Liverpool and was hosted by GYRO on Saturday 18 May. The film was produced by LGBTQ+ young people attending GYRO and Thinking Film.
The T for Together
Running time: 4 minutes approx
The T for Together is a poem written and performed by Lee Evans – an “out and proud trans man” from Liverpool – for 2019’s Transgender Day of Visibility (31 March). The video features young people from THE Action Youth and members of Merseyside’s trans community.
