Cruel Intentions, the American update of Les Liaisons Dangereuses set in the teen sex hotbed of high school, will this month be introduced by Gez “Mez” Mercer as part of our Dirty Thoughts season, followed by a chance to debate the queer significance of the film and its personal meanings for Gez.
Getting to know Gez
Gez Mez is a born and raised Scouse artist. After training in music and theatre, he has found a career in dance and performance, appearing at queer nights in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and London. His most recent show is with the artist Scottee in their touring show Fat Blokes. Gez’s grunge musical Americana is set to debut in London in September 2019.
